Any personalized political automated dialing company should have the following:
- We are 100% Fiber Optic! We do not broadcast over the Internet. This is know as "VOIP" or voice over Internet protocol. Many if not all of the new companies use this technology. The resulting voice quality is beyond terrible. Calls are so "scratchy" that voice mail and answering machines do not recognize the signal and hang up before delivery and people who pick up the phone have the same reaction. The voice quality is like when you called Mexico 30 years ago. The easiest way to sniff out a "VOIP" company is by the price they charge. They only pay one-eigth of a penny for their long distance minutes and usually ask 2.5 cents or less for each call. The price that a VOIP company should charge is zero. Probably they should pay you. VOIP calls do not result in votes. Why spend campaign dollars on a tool that does not result in a net vote gain? Using VOIP will cost you a close election, period!
- Conclusive reporting. The results of each and every number dialed should be available in an Excel spreadsheet format.
- To-the-penny billing. Your cost should be accurate literally down to the penny. It should not be rounded up.
- "Barge-in reporting." You should be able to get your real time report even in the middle of a broadcast.
- Automatic list de-duping. You should be doing business with a vendor whose system is programmed so that it will not call back to a number where a message has been delivered.
- Continuous accessibility. You should be able to contact someone at the company all 8,760 hours of the year. Things happen in a short campaign cycle that must be addressed immediately and that can't wait for someone to come back from lunch or until the following day.
Any personalized political automated dialing company should offer the following broadcast types:
- GOTV
- JOLT Calls. Calls the day of the election.
- Absentee voter calls
- Early voter calls
- Spouse calls
- Polling ID calls
- Hot button transfer calls
- Boomerang calls
- Suppression calls
- Issues calls
- Volunteer and yard sign solicitation calls. Remember, a yard sign and a volunteer is a very good first step to a contribution.
- Contribution calls
We have and perform all of the above plus the following two "things" that you will not find elsewhere:
- A hyper-focused commitment to your victory including our unprecedented use of "Stumpers." "Stumpers" are messages that are so clever and "unanswerable" that they leave your opponent(s) flustered and without recourse. There are voice broadcast companies that want to process you as quickly as possible to be able to get to the next victim. No "research and development" nor creative thinking is done. We put our hearts and souls into every race. If you have put your faith and trust into us to deliver, we reciprocate by giving you the absolutely highest number of votes per dollar that you will find anywhere with no exceptions.
- Our "PDS." Our PDS is our unique application - our Perpetual Dialing System. We dial every hour on the hour with your message. (We of course do not call back once a message has been successfully delivered.) The effect of this is dramatic. We are able to achieve a delivery rate of as high as 95% of the good numbers on a list. This compares to the usual 70% to75% for the voice broadcast companies that only dial twice during the day. That level of delivery disparity can mean the difference between a win and a loss in a close race. The quest for office in the 70"s and 80?s was a much easier and more certain process. Run and win was the routine. There are more and more candidates each year. Each and every decision in a campaign must be optimal. There is no room for "politics as usual" in the selection of vendors. And you cannot leave it up to others. Merit has to be the final arbiter.
